Purpose and Aims:
The environment has a high impact on learning. It gives students a clear message, as to how we value them and how we value their learning.
We ensure that:
- Focus is given on consistent approach, to fulfill the staff and student’s expectation for learning and advancement.
- Emphasis is also given on all-inclusive and collaborative approach so that students can achieve their potentials.
General expectations
Organization: All facilities should be kept clean, tidy and free from clutter. Classroom and Institute timings should support student value and respect their learning environment.
Language: Emphasis is given to easy to understand language, where jargons are used it is explained in real time.
Resources: A high quality resources based ion computer interface systems and sufficient use of graphics, audio and video program are initiated.
Classroom layout: The physical layout of the classroom should support and promote inclusive, interactive teaching. It is spacious rectangular and seating positioned to see interactive useful class rooms interaction.
Implementation
Tutors establish rapport and maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment by ensuring a common understanding of the principles of The Code of Conduct: Respect – developed through extensive collaboration between members of the Institute community. They actively teach the principles through activities and the positive approach.
Student’s rights:
- To be treated with courtesy and respect
- To Work in, and enjoy, a safe, secure and clean environment
- Provided with a learning environment that is free from disruption
- Maximize their educational potential
Student’s responsibilities:
- To show courtesy and respect to others
- To Keep internal environment safe, secure and clean
- To ensure that there is no disruption to Another person’s learning environment
- Developing their potential and assist others in doing the same
- For respecting student, staff and Institute property
